We just left Strasbourg in the morning to go to Munich and on the evening of 11 December 2018, a terrorist attack occurred in Strasbourg, France, when a man attacked civilians in the city’s busy Christmas Market.

The week after we left Nice, France on the evening of 14 July 2016, a white truck was deliberately driven into crowds of people celebrating Bastille Day on the Promenade des Anglais just in front of where we were.

No panic, for the moment, some start wearing masks and gloves. All shops are closed, some cafés are open for ordering only, you can no longer sit outdoors. It is strange to see that the street we take every day to get coffee has no circulation. Usually, you can see and heard all the motorcycles outside anymore.
March 20
Yesterday, we found out that one of the guests in this compound has the VIRUS! And the lady beside us said she is also sick !!! Think it is time to leave. We’re going to try another airline to get back sooner.
Update March 25
Air Transat cancels our flight and no new date to fly home for the moment, so we bought tickets with Air Canada to go home. Everything went great, the airport is empty, looks like a ghost town, feels very strange.
We are under quarantine for 14 days at home, right now.
What can you do!! The only thing to do at the moment is the spring cleaning and downloading of my pictures from our beautiful vacation.
Wow, we have to order our groceries online ( don’t really like that, I just pay $2.14 for one tomato ), can wait I can go by myself and choose my food.
We finally concluded our trip to Portugal in the middle of May was not going to happen so I will wait in a couple of months to see if we can travel again.
