An Amateur Photography Equipment

Let me remind you that I am just an amateur photographer. I refer to myself as an amateur photographer because I’m still learning!
For the moment, I am learning Food Photography and love it.
I started a long time ago with a Minolta, I didn’t have half of the equipment I do now. I took pictures of my kids until they see my camera and run away …
The key is that you’re always learning and practicing.
In one of my courses, I took pictures outside and that day was sunny but oh! so cold, my fingers were freezing, you cannot take a photo with gloves on !! Never again.

Some of the equipment I used on road trips and others in my travel.
Photography equipment isn’t one-size-fits-all, so just because something works for me doesn’t mean it will be right for you.
The equipment is only as good as the experience behind it. Even if you have the best or more expensive camera, that doesn’t mean you will have great photos. Choose the right camera for you.
More choice is always good, but too much leads to confusion.
Go wandered in your local camera store or browse online for information. I usually look online to see what is in my price range and after I like to talk to someone in a store. You can ask all the questions you want.
I will not tell you what to buy, it will depend on what are you going to do with it. Vacation photos only, food photography, close up etc.

My Cameras

I have an old DSLR Canon Rebel T2I that works perfectly a Mirrorless camera Canon M50 and a Point and shoot Olympus.

Mirrorless.

Mirrorless cameras are often sought after for their lightweight, compact bodies, making them desirable for travel.

Mirrorless cameras consist of a single, removable lens and a digital display but no reflex mirror. As a result, when light passes through the lens, it travels straight onto a sensor and it’s then processed and displayed.

In terms of lens mounts and attachments, you are limited in your choice.

This camera makes beautiful quality images.

Awesome HD video capabilities

And built-in WiFi sharing.

DSLR

Alternatively, a digital single-lens reflex camera (DSLR) has a reflex mirror inside that bounces light into an optical viewfinder. With this camera style, you can see exactly what you’re capturing through the viewfinder.

The main benefit of a DSLR camera is the versatility, quality, and lens compatibility you can use with it.

The DLSR is a heavy camera to travel with, in my opinion. Maybe the professional will say otherwise!!

I love my DLSR, but to travel and walk all day with the weight, is too much for me now.
