Quebec City On A Cold Day In January
As a seasonal traveler, I carefully pack the necessary items for any flight.
To make my travel experience more enjoyable, I ensure that I am fully stocked and can fit under my seat or in the overhead bin.
Having all my go-to essentials within reach saves time and avoids any hassle during flights. Furthermore, I always keep a change of clothes and essential toiletries in my tote bag in case my checked luggage is lost or delayed.
Choose the right size of carry-on and tote bags to ensure a stress-free journey. A well-packed suitcase will help you with your travel.
It can be frustrating to need help to fit your bags in the overhead compartment or be asked to check them in.
Most airlines have size restrictions for carry-on bags, so check the guidelines before packing.
A tote bag can be an excellent alternative to carry-on luggage if you prefer a more compact and portable option.

It is a beautiful and historic city located in eastern Canada on the banks of the Saint Lawrence River. The capital of the province of Quebec, it is known for its European charm, architecture, and rich cultural heritage.
Founded in 1608 by French explorer Samuel de Champlain, this is one of the oldest cities in Canada, and its Old Town has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is home to many landmarks, such as the Château Frontenac, a grand hotel overlooking the river; the Citadelle, a fortress that has protected the city since the 17th century; and the Plains of Abraham, an urban park that was the site of a major battle during the Seven Years’ War.
Quebec is also famous for its winter carnival, which takes place every year in February and features ice sculptures, music, and other fun activities. With its stunning scenery, rich history, and vibrant culture, it is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Canada.
Over the Christmas holidays, my son and grandson visited me from Winnipeg. Since they had never been to Quebec, we decided to go on a road trip there.
However, travelling the distance in one day proved to be exhausting. Though January is too cold to visit places, I couldn’t refuse my only grandchild’s request. It was a fun day, but we plan to visit during the warmer seasons next time.
