The off-season is always the best, but lately planes have been full!!

 

*Book your hotel somewhere central.

I am not including the hotel’s price, B&B, etc., because they will vary by season. We chose to rent a little house close to all the amenities.

St Francois is a place where you don’t get many people, but it’s quieter.

 

**Visa Requirements: Since it is part of France, Schengen visa rules generally apply, but specific visas apply to the French Overseas Territories. Check with your local French consulate.

 

**Hurricane Season: Officially runs from June to November. The safest bet for sunny weather is between December and May.

 

 

ETIAS will start operations in the last quarter of 2026.

So that you know, no action is required from travellers now.
